Passat harbour (Priwall)

The marina under the Passat’s masts: leisure boats and visiting yachts on the Priwall side, with the best view back at the Vorderreihe.

No Travemünde harbour has a bigger backdrop: the Passat’s four masts rise right above the jetties, the Priwall ferry crosses behind, and in the evening the Vorderreihe glows across the water. Arrive by boat and you moor in the middle of the picture.

On foot the Passat harbour is part of the Priwall walk: ferry, museum ship, marina, beach – all in one line along the promenade.

Local tip: Evening-light tip: from the jetties the whole Vorderreihe sits in the sun – the classic photo most visitors miss.
