Travemünde with children
The beach is half the holiday with children – plus 46 playgrounds, the climbing forest, adventure golf and, for rainy days, the indoor play hall on the Priwall. This page gathers it all, sorted by weather.
In good weather
First stop is the gently sloping Kurstrand with the beach playground right on the sand – bucket and spade cover half a day. For more action: the climbing forest sits in the woods by Parkallee, plus adventure golf on the Priwall and beach golf along the promenade. Water temperature and bathing spots →

What to do when it rains?
The most reliable indoor address is PriWilly Cosmos on the Priwall (BayCenter until 2025) – indoor adventure playground, blacklight mini golf and a laser maze under one roof. The Ostseestation by the Trave and the Seebadmuseum are good for an hour in the dry; the four-masted barque Passat can be visited in showers too.
